The society has as its purpuse to unite the descendants of the famous citizen of Göteborg and member of parliament Jonas Anders Kjellberg (1788-1877).

The family, dating from 16th century,  are spread over the world and society is a connecting link for its members.

We award scholarships for education, family history, and certain other purposes and have family meetings every two years.
